Costa Mesa
Interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, and popcorn ceiling removal for Costa Mesa's mid-century housing stock.
Costa Mesa is full of 1950s and 60s houses, which means two things we see constantly: popcorn ceilings and exposed wood on the exterior. Both are worth dealing with properly rather than painting around.
Ceiling scraping is messy work done right: the room sealed floor to ceiling, fixtures down, debris bagged and hauled out, then a skim coat so the ceiling reads flat before texture or a smooth finish goes on. On homes built before 1980 we recommend testing the ceiling before anyone scrapes anything.
On the outside, post-and-beam and board-and-batten details need a real primer and a flexible top coat, not a quick spray. Eastside and Mesa Verde homes get the same written scope and the same walkthrough as everything else we do.
